This year the food&wine feast ideated and curated by Davide Paolini since 2011, is collaborating with Asian Taste. The edition is dedicated to Italian niche artisanal production and quality Asian cuisine that is so popular in Milan.

 

A corner “Asian Taste” will set with four different areas: the first one, The Asian Street Market, is going to be all about Oriental and Mediterranean cultures; A “Beverage room”, where it will be possible to taste drinks and Oriental beverages; A “Restaurant Hall”, with Chinese and Japanese food tasting; finally a district dedicates to objects and trinkets from Asia.

Apart the thematic corner of this year, the event is going to follow its traditional setting. The visitors will be able to discover the best local and foreign artisan producers, including salumai, cheesemakers, winemakers, brewers, pastry chefs and chocolatiers. Rare foods and refined wines, exciting stories and interesting connections, this is the spirit of Milano Golosa.

The organizers did not forget about the fonds of the live experiences. Some of the best chefs, pizzaioli and pastry chefs are going to share their secrets, cooking techniques and precious stories in the special Cooking Show Area. The list includes the names like Diego Rossi, Federico Sisti, Gabriele Faggionato, Giuseppe Mancino.

The same experience has been prepared for the fans of the Asian cuisine, the chef’s of the restaurants like Wicky’s, Iyo, Gong, Mu Dim Sum are going to be a part of the Asian Cooking Show.There will be masterclasses on considering the sake, dim sum, use of chopsticks, tea ceremony, raw fish cutting, spices and food safety.

For the first this year the visitors will also enjoy the new Area of the Experiences. The areas are dedicated to Coffee and Flour themes, respectively with Lavazza and Petra. Here one can learn more about the production, participate in the guided tastings and learn the insights on the traceability of the supply chain and the transformation of the products.

 

The event will take place of 12-13-14 October in the Palazzo del Ghiaccio, located in Via G. B. Piranesi 14.
