FROM SCRATCH
“Because a pizza is not just a pizza”, says the claim of Da Zero , pizzerias where everything speaks of Cilento. The link with local products is very strong and it is enough to read the menu to realize the value of each raw material.
For the pizza dough they use a blend consisting of flour from the Caputo Mill and flour from the Cilento area with cold milling. They were the first to use the “mortella” mozzarella on the pizza, which takes its name from the myrtle, in whose leaves the farmers wrapped the mozzarella to transport them downstream. The pizza here is really light and the ingredients really deserve more than a visit!
The current locations are 5: Vallo della Lucania, Turin, Materia and Milan ( Via Bernardino Luini 9 and Via dell’Orso 4 ).
PIZZA AM and PIZ
The art of Pasquale Pometto is a certainty in terms of pizza! Pizza Am , in Corso di Porta Romana 83, has been an institution for many years in Milan and Piz in Via Torino 34 is no different. An informal setting, the inevitable meloncello at the end of a meal and a very light, thin and genuine pizza. The ingredients? Few and selected, so as not to alter the taste of authenticity.
DRY MILAN
The combination of pizza and cocktail can be said to have been proposed for the first time by Dry , in its first headquarters in Via Solferino . The pizzas and focaccias in the society version (divided into wedges) are stuffed with high quality ingredients, to be accompanied by cocktails made by expert barmen. The locations (both Brera and Via Veneto ) are contemporary and metropolitan in style. A treat? The drinks are offered until two in the morning and up to that time you can also enjoy their focaccias or their delicious cubottii!
Milan is certainly not Naples, but we can say that when it comes to pizza, the Milanese master really offers a lot!
